KalaivaniB_VcKy2kfl4N bro did you get any solution I’m trying from last 1 week can’t find any the sim is getting detected for quite a while and then same problem. The people in the multi-brand service centre told me the main board need to be replaced and it’ll cost 20k rupees I ain’t doing that

I am facing the same. My Airtel sim on slot 1 stopped getting picked up. Did anyone figure out the reason? How can I fix this?

UPDATE: Getting a new Airtel sim card fixed it for me.

I faced the same issue after recent update but restarting it for 4 times fixed it. Again phone restarted by itself after 2 weeks and I do not have the mobile signals again. Sim option itself is disabled under settings menu. Nothing should do something about it urgently.

Using Airtel, with Nothing Phone (2), Is version: 2.6 and Android 14.

vovan-v Fixed after getting a new SIM from airtel store. Costed INR50 and travel to airtel store with Aadhaar Card. Remember SMS will not work for 24 hours with a new SIM in India as per govt. rules which is still better than nothing working at all.

Changing sim slots, reboots etc. were not fixing it this time after trying for 3hours. It worked earlier this way on the version 2.6 upgrade day before a week or two.

It appears issue is with old airtel SIM cards. Mine was 4G one where airtel users need not change sim to use 5G and I was using 5G for an year now with that 4G-sim on nothing phone (2).
Nothing Tech should fix the issue before more users are effected and other thing is users mostly are not reporting on forum.

naren_s Not sure if this is really a Nothing issue. Sim stopped working all of a sudden, tried in a Samsung phone. Same issue. Didn’t want to do R&D, went straight to Airtel store after reading your comment. Saw many people there facing same issue.

The catch here is that they demand an online payment of INR 50. Now since the sim isn’t working, even if you connect to hotspot, UPI apps won’t process the request due to lack of sim. So either you go with someone who will pay on your behalf, or you click a picture of the QR code and send it to someone who will pay on your behalf.

I faced the same issue with my phone 2 and it was resolved after getting a new Airtel sim but now after a month, I am facing the same problem with the new sim.

Hello, I also faced this problem. First of all, you have to reset the phone several times until the antenna returns, and the reason for this is that in some places the phone does not fully receive the 5g antenna, it gets confused and it switches between 4g and 5g until the SIM card is completely out of reach. can The problem seems to be due to the last update My advice is to remove the 5g option temporarily so that this bug can be fixed with the next update.

Had a same issue , even after restarting , remove the sim n clean it with a eresar and insert back into device ,sim card will be detected
