Hey community!
My mom recently started using a Phone (2) and she uses it for her remote music classes, where she plays the keyboard during calls. We’ve encountered a strange issue: phone calls (regular or via WhatsApp/Duo) transmit keyboard audio in a choppy way, almost like noise cancellation is activated. This happens on both audio and video calls, but interestingly, speech transmits perfectly.
To reproduce the issue:
Make a call (regular or internet)
Verify clear voice (human speech) reception with the other person.
Play music or an instrument (preferably keyboard).
Check if the audio transmits seamlessly on the other end.
We’ve already tried:
Switching between WiFi networks (including frequencies)
Using 5G and different carriers
Updating WhatsApp and Duo
Resetting network settings
Device: Phone (2)
Nothing OS Version: 2.5.5 [Pong-U2.5-240419-0138-IND]
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known issue? If so, are there any workarounds or fixes? Any guidance would be appreciated!
