I wanted to write about my experience with the np 2a. I have straight talk using verizon sim. i am coming from a one plus nord n200 5g… i get 4g+ and 5g currently. When i recieved my np 2a… i used wifi to set it up. I then added my verizon sim from one plus phone. I see 4g+ 1 bar populate and checked the data to make sure apps loaded. Done. it worked. I recieve an update. ON wifi of course. After reboot…. phone updates and data is gone… only VO LTE is displayed and no data… try to create new apn settings and it didnt help. reset apn to defaults. same thing. VOLTE only. i can send mms but no data. So i try to put sim back on one plus phone. it gets apn settings update and 4g+ is now on one plus phone. I then remove and insert it into nothing phone… i get 4g+ …. data works but then sim seems to update or sync and i lose data. only volte comes available. laslty… the apn settings that are default are not editable. could be a reason sim settings dont update auto from when its inserted… it takes the default apn and if its not correct it barely functions. I do know that in the US the np 2a has lmited bands and in the end this is just a paper weight? anyone using straight talk with ATT or TMOBILE or verizon with the np 2a? what area do you reside in…?
