murrays_ This is what I want to know too. I ordered on launch day but won’t be in town Saturday, so won’t get to pop up stall. Will we get our phones after everyone else then?

murrays_ It might sound silly, but we were promised that we’d have our phones in our hands before they went on sale to the general public, and I’m a little disappointed that the ‘community’ is being left behind in this process. I think it would be nice if they at least told us what was going on, and a little tokwn that our patience has been appreciated since we’ve been here from the beginning.

Pre-order codes are known to expire by July 25th, i.e. in 9 days from now. However, white model units for both memory sizes are all already gone from the online store, clearly due to non-investors and non-preorders taking priority over both investors AND pre-order code holders.

My question is: Will there be a re-stock of white model units BEFORE this said date, or am I forced to buy the black model unit (if want to take advantage of my perfectly valid pre-order code), just because I had to hold my purchase until I had the availability to buy the phone?

ElliotKing they took a weird strategy. See my post from above: linuxct. They never replied here nor to a support ticket I sent them yesterday morning, however, they sent a transactional email to literally everyone with a pre-order code stating they extended the expiry date 60 days further. This is great news, but why are they scared of just telling us directly/answering us in these forums or when we address them publicly (i.e. Twitter)? Why do they rather send an impersonal email addressed to just everyone instead of talking to us? I don’t get it, we won’t bite if you become communicative with us!

Believe it or not I totally forgot about the £20 deposit I’d already purchased when I placed my order for the Phone (1) which not only meant I paid full price but missed out on the priority delivery.

My order is still showing as unfulfilled, hay hoo…..

I have reached out to customer service and highlighted my situation, obviously pointing out it was my fault, doh

They got back to me a couple of days later asking of I wanted a refund. I said yes but haven’t heard back from them again yet !

I’m wishing I just drove to London yesterday and took a chance on buying a phone in person…….

I also haven’t received any of the merch for being an investor!!……..

ElliotKing I’ve preordered and my order is still unfulfilled, if it wasn’t so hot I’d jump in the train and go pick it up myself, hoping it’ll get shipped Mon/Tues.

Anyone from the UK received their orders yet?

Regarding the Investors merch, Carl has already stated that there is a delay do to quality issue.

UK, still waiting. No dispatch info yet. Pretty disappointed as an Investor that people have been able to walk up to the pop up store and get one straight away.

UK still waiting no update and no reply from customer service. If I get no reply tomorrow I’ll be cancelling my order, so much to being a better way eh? 🤦🏽‍♂️

I’ve just reached out to Nothing customer support and asked for my order to be cancelled and money returned.

Nothings complete lack of communication and my order still unfulfilled 6 days after placing isn’t good enough in my opinion.

The hype was real and Nothing had a good idea about the volume for demand of the Phone (1) and yet it’s still turned into a disappointing shambles.

ElliotKing The lack of communication seems to be a generalized issue. They aren’t responding to many of the complains, including this thread and many others in Twitter and whatnot. I start to feel ashamed, and regret I have backed this company.

ElliotKing it’s just extremely frustrating that we were willing to trust them enough to invest and pre order the device before really knowing much about it. Yet they don’t even have the decency to give an update or reply 🤦🏽‍♂️

It’s a very strange way to behave by Nothing, no updates, news or communication of any sort!

I really wanted an alternative from OnePlus but so far Nothing hasn’t come close to delivering……… literally!!

I cancelled my order sadly, after walking past O2 and seeing the phones in stock and on display it was the last straw for me. I hoped it was going to be similar to the experience I had with OnePlus sadly that wasn’t to be.

I know how you feel though, I’m still waiting for customer services to acknowledge my request to cancel my order.

Maybe we’ll feel better about the situation once the dust has settled?

I had an email today from ‘51 Cargo Services’ via DPD. From what I’ve read this is the delivery partner nothing are using.

Due for delivery on Friday.

Got a generic email stating it was going to be delayed and I had 2 options. I’ve already requested a refund and won’t be changing my mind now.

Yeah, I’ve just noticed that I received the same email , it’s such a shame it wasn’t sent out sooner.

It’s a good move on their part though.

That said, I’m still carrying on with my refund request.

I reached out to #Rudi a couple of times but he never bothered to respond………
