I bought the Nothing Ear (2)s - Black when they first launched - along with the Phone (2) - and didn’t have any issues. But recently I noticed a static/wind sound coming from the right earbud when idle (no music playing). When I turn on ANC it does get better but the volume of the sound is still significant. However, when music is playing its not that noticeable. In transparent mode its too loud and can hear it in the background even when the music is on. I found out the only way to get rid of this “sound” is to turn off both ANC and transparent modes.
Just to clarify, I know when changing modes between ANC and transparent you typically can hear faint “wind” noise when outside. That’s because of the wind blowing through which is normal. But this sound occurs even when I’m indoors in a completely quiet environment with no wind or relevant noises to pass through. And it only happens to the right earbud so I thought it might be a bug or faulty? That can be fixed with an update?
Does anybody know why this happens? And why its only occuring on the right (red dot) earbud? I have tried resetting but nothing worked. Is there a way to solve this issue?
