Speaker distorting on Nothing Phone 2(a) when I apply pressure on the screen

I’ve noticed that when I add some pressure on the screen of my Nothing Phone 2(a), the audio coming out of the speakers on the phone, distorts. But when I release the pressure off the screen, the speaker goes back to normal.

[This phone was purchased in Bangalore, India]

Anyone else facing this issue? And is it anything to worry about on the long term?

I wouldn’t recommend applying unnecessary pressure to any tech product, especially a smartphone. If you believe it’s a manufacturing defect, I recommend getting in touch with the support team, they should be able to help further.

I’m experiencing the same issue, it only occurs when I apply pressure to the bottom part of the phone. While it’s not a major issue now, I’m concerned it might become one in the future.
