Subsequently, the phone was stuck on the welcome screen with both an Indian and a US SIM inside; surprisingly, I could still receive calls but couldn’t get past the welcome message. After emailing Nothing on Friday, by some magic, the phone started working on its own by Monday, and the restriction message was somehow bypassed. They responded quickly, apologizing for the delay and inconvenience.
