Nothing Phone 2a Call waiting issue

Good afternoon,

I have the Nothing Phone 2a 12 GB Ram and 256 GB storage.

I have a problem with the call waiting feature on my phone, I toggle the call waiting function on but it goes straight to my voicemail.

My Network does have call waiting facilities and when I put my Sim in another phone call waiting works no problem, does this mean there is a fault with my phone?

I have tried everything, including factory resetting the phone several times.

I also called customer service several times with no luck.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

Sounds like you may have call forwarding to voicemail when busy set up on your service, so check your call forwarding settings.

For me (using Google Phone) it is found under Phone > Settings > Calling accounts > Account name/SIM number > Call forwarding.

Hi and thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it.

I can confirm that I have tried that and it has not worked.

If I turn voicemail off and I’m on a call people get line busy and call waiting is toggled on and is active.

If I turn my voicemail on and call waiting is toggled on and active it goes direct to voicemail I deactivated call forwarding when busy and people get busy tone.

Yet if I use another phone call waiting works no problem I think its a problem with my phone 2a, phoned customer service about it and they couldn’t help.

All they said was send the phone to the repair centre and see if there is a fault I won’t have to pay as it is under warentee but then if there is a problem I would have to pay postage and shipping fees.
This has now put me off buying any other products from Nothing and CMF sadly.
