First, I was waiting for my desired White colour of the phone to become available again for purchase in Europe; initially when I reached out, I was told to stay tuned on May 17th. To this day, it isn’t.
Then, as more and more users own one and get their hands on, I started following threads about faulty issues such as dusk entering and accumulating in the camera lens and the transparent back; green tint on the screen; dead pixel/light leak at the edge; speaker and voice quality during calls and voice messages; slow charging and unusual battery drain that are against what it’s advertised; and other issues.
My OnePlus 6 is 6yo now. It still rocks and wow, all OP6 users know what a bad beast the 6 is. However, I think it’s time I move on.
I’m not after an affordable but perfect phone. I don’t mind that the camera is not as good as xyz, I don’t mind that the Nothing OS still needs improvement, what I’m worried is if the basic functions are not working as intended, such as calls, messaging apps, camera, being able to use and control the phone with gestures when it’s laying flat on a surface.
I know users only start a thread and comment when there is an issue. Therefore, I’m here to ask, are there any Phone 2a users who haven’t encountered any faulty issues at all? Or should I not catch this train? Thanks.
