CMF Buds (not Pro) - can you really not turn them on via the earbuds themselves?

I just bought these CMF Buds and I REALLY like them, but if I take them out to chat with someone for like 15 minutes while I’m jogging, I find they’re disconnected from my phone and I cannot get them to reconnect until I place them back in the case.

No matter what I try, I can’t get them to turn on physically without the case. Is there really no way to turn them on directly?

Hi there, have one pair as well for use at construction site. So very often take them out, back in, have them for few hrs in pocket without case and they always connect without problem… check your settings in nothingX app and bluetooth settings…

Thanks very much for confirming. I’ve checked it all out. This pair must be defective. I’ve ordered another so I’ll know for sure soon enough. Fingers crossed.
