HaFLiNGeR Hey 👋 If you listen to music or other audio with Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, and open an app like Discord that uses the microphone, audio quality and volumes are reduced. This is because Blueooth has two modes:
- The first is for listening to higher-quality audio
- The second is for both speaking through the mic and listening to audio. When Bluetooth switches to the second mode, audio quality is reduced until the microphone is no longer in use.
Effectively, Discord triggers the second option, which is why when you use that app, the sound output is of a lower quality and when you do not use it, the sound is of the quality that you’re looking for.
