I always put display icons small, today morning I found that all my homescreens size changed drastically and even moved from the original position. (Like the ones placed on top came towards the middle due to icon size change) Also the icons spacings and the size increased. Now it looks like the apps are congested.

This was before the size change, but now it looks like this

I even tried changing nothing orginal icons and it’s the same. Please help, I don’t like my apps to be enlarged like this.

How can i go back to normal icon size? I wake up today and see giant grid with icons so close to each other. I am designer, i am hurt to see this.

RavishKumar ya i also liked the google search bar being totally separate from the icons with spacing between quick app icons and other widgets. Slightly bigger icon size is also making the icons pixelated. Hope it stays only in beta

arpan2308 As mentioned above, I am not on beta and I still seeing the same issue since yesterday evening IST, and there was no update and I didn’t change the display size (it is on lowest size)

It seems they applied this already to the new version. Please give the option to change it back to what it was, or make it more obvious where to change. Cause I consider it terrible. Specialty the search bar that now is really close to the bottom icons.

I also think making such a radical change to something so important that you constantly interact with without being something optional is a bad approach to any new development.

Guys from Nothing totally messed up my preferences. Looks like it’s time to switch to another device. I mean, there is some things you cannot do with your customer. The golden rule - do not touch personal preferences. I wake up in the morning and see that my phone screen looks like it is made for some 80 years old with HUGE icons and tiny space between them.

Today i woke up to find my home screens layout to be smaller than it used to be even though it was already on ×5 grid it yet shunrk down and got so conjusted . It didn’t fix even after the update. The pictures would make u understand much better please check the before and after

DevanshKumar_qReszBcwP5 same happened today morning to me also, I gave feedback to nothing, but they’re saying to update to latest version and do a factory reset! I don’t understand why we need to do factory reset for this.

Same happening with me on phone 2 with 2.6.0 earlier I used the layout with lables. Now same layout is not possible if you turn of app lable option. Don’t want to go back as I have to setup the whole layout again.

arpan2308 Bro communicate to them that we have battery drain issues (phone 1) not this. Are they just using us to their new product or what we have a serious battery drain issue that should be resolved asap that what should be comuniated to them and please do that thats your job as mod

I had to uninstall the launcher and then reinstall without the latest update, to get it back as before !!!

LionsElectrical I did the same but unfortunately it wiped my entire home screen layout, all 6 pages =(

sreelekshmisharmar went on play store. Found nothing launcher, uninstalled it, then reinstall it. I now have the grid for apps that was before the stupid update again. Hope that makes sense.👍🏻
