Just got the update today (Asia).

Beware the slower camera speeds vs. 2.5.5 and 2.5.4.
Much slower in terms of app opening, snap photos and review processing times …

CyanWarrior the photo quality has also decreased so much that now i think nothing can’t even just fix the sh*t that they have done with the camera like they are making the camera more and more worse after updates

mzudemkpunkt but i do come across issues with the quality of the photos and edge detection on potrait modes. so i feel an update regarding the camera is a must.

AvraMitra please suggest me how to pause the updates i dont want this update to spoil the camera which is already spoiled and the battery drain issue.

thorodi look for “Auto-update (apply updates when device restarts)” in developer options and turn it off.

Updates will still be auto downloaded and notifications will pop prompting you to finish the update by clicking on “restart now” option. But just ignore those notifications.

I simply swipe those upgrade notifications away, and still on 2.5.5.

Hi, I updated my Nothing Phone 2a to the latest 2.5.6, It was 2.5.5a but I got an issue with the sim card operator it’s changed to a different name instead of the original name, I tried to change the operator name and restarted the device but doesn’t work.

Battery drain hardcore. Nothing is different from coming from OnePlus phone as far as apps. Same settings. Now that I have this phone and using os 14 version of nothing this phone chews through the battery…. Nothing makes sense… I mean no it doesn’t make sense… 😔 😕 either the os is goofy or np 2a has big bugs?
