Fingerprint not working for authentication

I just got my Phone (1) today and have been very pleased with it so far. There is just one thing that’s bugging me. I set up the fingerprint sensor, and it’s working fine for unlocking the phone.

However, when I try to use it for authentication in apps, the fingerprint reader just turns red and it’s simply not working.

Anyone else had the same issue, and know of a solution? I already tried deleting and setting up my fingerprint again, but to no avail.

EDIT: Seems like I had just not updated to the latest OS version, which solved the issue. Stupid problem, but I guess I’ll leave this up in case there are others who are as slow as I am.

First day with my NP2 and i’m constantly going for 2 or 3 trys to unlock. something is wrong with the software on fingerprint reader. Also there is a little bulge in the screen right under the fingerprint reader, here, se if you understand what i mean, it is as if something is pushing agains the screen under.

i used my flourescent light as a guide to show you guys, only in the middle the screen is flat, on the top is a little bulged on the edges and in the botton in the center. Is it just my unit? Is it it the fingerprint reader pushing the screen and that’s why if faults a lot?
