Restore from Google One backup without factory reset

Hi everyone,

After accidentally uninstalling Nothing Launcher, it screwed up my homescreen and icons/folders to factory default appearance.

I want to roll back to the backup in my Google One account. After logging in, I can see all of my settings, messages, etc.

However, I don’t see any “Restore” options or buttons in the phone settings and in Google One account.

Some posts on Reddit suggest factory resetting the device, and only then being able to select your cloud backup for restore when setting up a new device. Hope it doesn’t come to that.

Any ways to restore from cloud without doing a factory reset? Thanks

I am going through the same thing and the only options I have come across is to factory reset it and restore (which we don’t want to do)! 😩 it almost feels pointless to have a backup options if we can only use it in rare circumstances
