The Red Dot Awards
The Red Dot Awards is one of the most highly respected design awards in the world, attracting entries from top companies and designers from over 50 countries. This is the second year that we’ve been awarded, with recognition being given to Phone (2) and Phone (2a), as well our playful audio companion, Ear (a).
Also, for the first time, CMF by Nothing products have been rewarded. Specifically: Buds, Buds Pro, Watch Pro, Power 65W GaN and Neckband Pro.
iF Design Award
This year marked the first time that we submitted our devices to the iF Design organisation.
Since 1954, the iF label has been a reliable sign of great design for consumers and the design community. This year, we’re delighted to announce that international design experts have strictly evaluated and awarded Phone (2) and Ear (2) with an iF seal of approval. The organisation has also given the same recognition for our CMF product range, Buds Pro, Watch Pro, Power 65W GaN, Neckband Pro and Buds.
Adam Bates, Design Director at Nothing, has shared insightful perspectives on hardware design that reflect the company’s innovative ethos: “At Nothing, we approach products with a fresh perspective, focussing on engineering, unique experiences and a respect for creativity. This approach aims to bring back surprise and fun to smartphone and audio design, countering the industry’s trend towards uniformity”.
The CMF by Nothing design team added: “CMF by Nothing has demonstrated that exceptional design and high product quality do not have to be limited to a premium price tag”.
