Nothing becoming like other brands

Nothing has already launched ton of new products. The main thing which we trusted nothing is for listening to the community. I have bought 3 nothing products...

To clarify a few things for you, our moderators are not paid, nor are they staff, they are community members just like yourself who have been asked to ensure that community guidelines are observed for the benefit of all users experience. Moreover, this group of moderators has been the same for a long time, so I’m unsure of what culture that you’re asking to bring back.

These guidelines are defined by me and other members of the team, there is very little that is unique about our guidelines when compared to other large online communities.

Looking at your account your previous warnings from our moderators are absolutely justified. To continue using our website, please familiarise yourself with guidelines.

Can I give a suggestion to nothing team. Instead of launching new products and boasting the positives of your products, please work on the issues and bugs with the products. Instead of comparing with other brands which are way better in many aspects, please try to correct the flaws in your products.

Atleast release monthly list of issues addressed and in progress. In community I see lot of posts regarding the same issue and nowhere the so called community moderators are replying that the issue is addressed. But they come first for warning and providing strikes.

Launching phones and boasting positives are what every other brands do. Just think something new for users and not only for the growth of company.

The main thing nothing team misses is the consistency.

RapidZapper then why you people are coming to stop users who say about their issues. If your phone works well and you guys feel adequate, keep it with yourself. Why are you stopping other users from telling their issues. If you can’t do anything pls tell us whom to tag without getting strike. We are not using any bad words, we are telling our issues.

I can see some moderators saying that camera is adequate for them. What to expect from a three year old comapany? If guys are satisfied please don’t use community. Community is where the common users can get help and tell their issues.

I can see 7 banners on top of the community home page and all are about company growth and products. No banner is about user issue or anything for the user who uses the product.

Is the community for company promotion or to identify users issues and feedbacks?

RapidZapper if you don’t know much about the product and not able to understand the issues mentioned by other users, then why don’t you put strike on the post, warn/ban them?

Then you should immediately give up the moderator position and before that correct the community guidelines as well that person is not able to understand the concern then he/she shouldn’t be a moderator.

I’m again reiterating here, the mindset of European problems are only world’s problems and world’s problems are not theirs, is going to hit back Nothing, all of its investors, community moderators so hard that you can’t even think of.

Jerin Jose Banner is mainly used for Nothing related news and Community co-creation projects.
We never “stop” users from posting about issues, tags are forbidden for non-community related issues (you can check this post to find all the rules applicable to all users of this community, Rule 6 in this case https://nothing.community/d/20-nothing-community-guidelines-code-of-conduct)
If you feel someone that is not from the community need to see the issue, your solution is to contact support or push a feedback through your phone, this is the only proper way to raise an issue and expect a fix for it.

And those guys coming and saying, hey the camera is adequate, we can’t expect more from the company.. can you please provide strike to those guys, because they come to community unnecessarily and start blabbering everything as positive!

Jerin Jose Community is about sharing your experience with products, accessories, events, co-creation projects.
Talking about issues is definitely not forbidden as you can eventually get some solutions from other community members, some issues are just specific to your own hardware/software and can only be solved by a report to customer support to get your unit repaired, for example if you make a thread “I broke my screen” with a tag to a mod, i’m not sure anyone will be able to help you, only support will be able to guide you with a quote to a service center.
Same for software issues, if you say “There is an issue with X part of the software” it won’t help team locate the bug, that’s why opening a ticket through the Feedback will be more useful since you can provide logs and have someone contacting you back to track that bug.

Community is a lot more that a customer support service, a lot of time your issue will already be addressed in another thread, make sure to use the search bar to find another thread or use this page which cover a lot of question already https://nothing.tech/pages/support-product-help

Jerin Jose Rob is a community manager, not a support agent, I think we’ve provided a lot of answers about how community work and it seem you don’t want to understand, just remember that if you want direct assistance from nothing for issues, direct channel such as customer support exist.

Jerin Jose You havent been reading properly based on your replies. Community Managers are not Tech Supports, thats why there is a Feedback on Nothing OS. You may post on the community and people will try to help you. You may email for Technical concerns, but expecting community people especially volunteers to solve your issues is not right.

Your issues are your expectations, of course X device is not equal to X device you could be comparing the device to a 1000 dollar phone which the Nothing Phone 2 is not . Camera quality is subjective, and differs per manufacturer. You could also be expecting a ton of features on an OS that is designed be minimal as mich as possible

The main contradicting part of your post is Nothing is becoming like other brands while expecting them to be like other brands. Make up your mind

It’s shameful to see how some of these users are blaming the mods for something that’s not in their control.

I’ve had my fair share of problems with the mods. But they are just doing the best they can for the community.

If you have problems with things like charger not being available or something, you just cannot expect the mods of this community to fix that issue.

I suggest you guys to take a chill pill and try to get noticed by the brand on another platform like X or IG.

BKX Shame on you guys for supporting the negatives of a brand. We are not blaming any mods here. If mods can’t do anything, why they are getting involved in all posts? And why you guys are supporting them. All users have their freedom to report issues. You can take a chill pill and provide your support to moderators on some other platforms.

Due to guys like you, even the brands are not ready to understand the user issue. Because you guys being a fanboy, supporting them in all situations even if the user suffers from lot of issues.

I have mentioned that I had many arguments with mods before, I’m not supporting them. They are following the guidelines upon which this community site is built.

I mentioned other platforms cause it is actually useful, as in you may get noticed by the people who are more closely connected with the right teams that can resolve issues related to product stock availability and such things.

This site is more like a place where people can post content related to the nothing brand. I’m not saying you should not complain here, I’m saying you will be ignored here if you want some support from the brand side.

It is better to lock this thread for further replies or ban such hateful users.

The problem in the community is, whenever people post their issues moderators comes and then genius like you people come into picture and all the posts regarding issues will be drowned. Is there no one from nothing team available in the community?

I am asking here because I put my money and bought the product. You are not paying for me right. If you have no issues with the product, please be quiet in the community or go and reply to other posts which suits your mindset
