NothingOS 3.0 Concept Design - Lock Screen [by me]

Hello, i had some free time and came up with some simple lock screen designs. Hope you like them!

BOLD Themes

New customization options allow for different fonts and primary, secondary and tertiary colors to brighten up your lock screen! Or darken it even more, depending on your preferences.

Classic

If you are a true Nothing enjoyer and want something more monochrome, the new lock screen allows for consistent use of the classic nothing fonts and colors to keep it the same but with a little facelift.

Dynamic Taskbar

With the new taskbar you can swipe on the bar to increase or decrease the volume, answer or check incoming messages with a tap without opening the dedicated app, use the media controls freely or even access to advanced features for supported apps, such as seeing the song queue or playlist controls on the taskbar.

Gallery App

With the new gallery app, manage your photos and videos easily. Includes tasteful implementation of the classic Nothing dot font for the headers and fits right into the OS seamlessly.

These are the current mockups, i am also working on the notification bars within the lockscreen and will probably add them later. Please share your thoughts on the concepts and your expectations on the NothingOS 3.0!

(Yes i have the Phone 1, that’s why i used it in the mockups lol)

Need more polished interface there is no much big difference in the concept I hope you make more customisation features in Lockscreen if you have time 👍

Would love to have a lock screen mode that uses the same font as the date widget. Maybe they should call that the classic mode

The first style is just awful, sorry, but I hope they don’t use it in any way

DaniilGaltsev We need customization. If you don’t like it, sure. But saying “i hope they don’t add the customization other people like” is a great way to hinder the progress of this OS.

You might love that we are locked to 1 color option and that’s fine, but the first image shows that the OS can be customized further than what Material You themes allow. You can use the same Nothing theme if you want, these are just extras.

Personally i don’t like that there is a mix of Ndot and other fonts right now, but i am not advocating for removal of it. Instead i propose my suggestions here because i want NothingOS to get better. I recommend you to follow a similar route and bring some constructive criticism instead of saying “ don’t add this it’s horrible”.

CelestialColosseum Everything is as simple as possible, the more customization there is in the OS, the more difficult it is to optimize its operation (remember the old ios and a new one with a bunch of bugs) it will become much “heavier” and less fast, but I don’t need that

DaniilGaltsev No, all the other big brands like Samsung are doing it just fine. This isn’t 2010 and we have the resources to change a systemwide font, don’t worry.

As i said, choose the classic preset and you got the Nothing theme, otherwise you can customize all you want.
