I would like to share my sad experience with the product Ear1 and of course, the Nothing’s support which is as it’s name sounds = Nothing.
Quick sum-up:
Ear1 bought in December 2021 - Very happy with them even if since the beginning the behavior of the right bud was unstable, especially regarding the battery charge or disconnection.
In June 2024, the right ear failed totally, no battery anymore, no sound, no connection - I tried everything’s possible without any success and then decided to contact the Nothing support
Nothing replied in 72 hours (which is not the quickiest possible nevertheless they replied) and confirmed the solution: Trow them in the trash.
Strictly no answer after that, not commerciale gesture, not repairing possibility, “Nothing”…
Unhappy and confused customer
Observations:
I’m fully aware that my Ear1 weren’t anymore under any warranty which is 24 month however the Ear1 died after 30 month.
I’m still confused about their reply, how is it possible in 2024 to waste like this ? No repairing or just a bud replacing possibility ? What is this conception ? If you have no possibility, please do your best to compensate this lack especially as the product is not reliable…
After some research, I’m not the only one customer with this kind of problem related to reliability of the Ear1. I was expecting just to receive a small commercial gesture, not a full replacement but even this, was totally rejected by Nothing support.
So thank you for all, I’m just one more confused and unhappy customer about Nothing product and Nothing support.
