One of the major gripes I have with my phone(1) is how the auto rotation is never trurly off. I like using my phone when laying on things, so i basically never turn this function on, but the little button for that shows up when the phone detects that you shift it’s position is very annoying to me. For example: when i use the twitter app one-handed, and i reach over the screen with my thumb to press the in-app home button i will, as a by-product, rotate the phone slightly, which makes the pop-up show up, in the same place as the in-app home button, forcing me to either wait with my thumb extended for the few seconds before it goes away, or accidentally clicking it and rotating the screen when i don’t want it to.
Does 2.0 change how that pop-up handles or allows it to turn it off completely? If no, are there any plans to do something about it later?
And am I the only one experiencing this?
