I have found that my nothing phone 2 touch sometimes won’t click or responds while typing and scrolling

Light touch is comfortable to touch with a fingertip, isn’t it? I’m thinking of buying tempered glass, so I don’t want to buy it in vain🙂

omer.e yes you can touch gently with a screen protector on, there are no issues , and I’m just using a cheap screen protector it’s just 130 rupees , still it’s registering light touches , so no issues

NayanVajifiya i think everyone got the update , its better if you check again in setting for the update , and if you still didnt find it , contact the support

ShaikAnsar Would suggest you to use the official Nothing screen protector. Several users have reported that touch is not working well cheaper options available in the market. Also try turning on the enhanced touch responsiveness option from settings. If the issue persists sending feedback with logs while replicating the issue can help the team fix it. Hope this helps 👍

Spike Mine doesn’t have a screen protector yet it happens to my phone so what’s the problem ?

I recently updated Android 14 and within a day I have faced touch response issue and then I had to restart the phone…WTF

The same thing happened to me. I updated to Android 14 and faced the touch response issue when trying to press on some links on Facebook or WhatsApp or even when I tried to press on a conversation with someone, it didn’t work. It kinda annoys me…

Same here. I was hoping the update would fix the issue but the touch response problem remains. Enabling Enhanced Touch Response makes no difference.

I have lost patience. It is time to try and sell the phone. I just hope a buyer does not also think it is a flawed device and return it.

I’m using Nothing phone 2. Whenever I softly touch the screen like to open a link, the phone is not responding, but when I touch it with a little bit more intensity then it responds. Due to this I have to touch several times while clicking on the option.

I know its not related to tempered glass which is installed on the device, because once I opened the link and then comes back, the same link can be opened with a very soft touch, So its maybe related to software or refresh rate, but its annoying to touch multiple times on some options.

Is anyone else facing the same issues with touch ?

My NP2 freezes completely and the touch screen doesn’t respond in any way it’s the second time now my phone does that any solution for this?
