Is the pre-applied screen protector any good?

I just bought a phone 2a and was wondering if I need to replace the pre-applied screen protector with a better one. Any good/bad experiences with it? Thank you

Tr_ The pre-applied screen protector is good to prevent scratch on the screen, if you want a drop protection it’s recommended to replace it by a tempered glass.

I bought a hidrogel one for my NP2 and I haven’t been able to use it because I couldn’t remove the pre-applied one

Don’t remove the protector,use how many days u can. because it is hard to find a exactly the same screen size other than that of nothing original screen protector which cost around 1200 to 1500 RS , it is hard to find a perfect screen guard because the NP2 size is about 6.66 inch,it’s neither 6.6 nor 6.7 inch ,this is the brands marketing strategy to sell there own screen protector and case’s to the customers. It was likely implemented first by Apple.

I am telling this because,am a student so i don’t have 1500 rs for only to buy a screen guard.one day at night i kept my phone on a table my dog which is of 5 months ,it don’t know what to eat and what not to eat ,it took the phone and started eating .till morning it was like a hell but thanks to the Gorilla glass 5’s scratch resistance my screen was safe . After that I went to the market to find a perfect screen protector but I could not find a single shop where I could find this brand Protector. However the screen should be protected so I took a 6.6 inches protector and applied on the screen, the screen is protector after this but the edges are naked where it can lead to the scratches. So think once to remove

The pre-installed screen protector is not very good.
It does the trick, but, after 2 months use I already have some scratch marks on it, and I’m very careful with all my phones.
It’s not the type of scratch that bothers me much, but knowing they are there messes with my OCD 😅

VishwanathS_ghante you will get tempered glass from 150Rs in the shops.But remember when selecting tempered glass only use borderless ones.Black border ones does not cover the full screen and the black border of tempered glass multiplies the border of the phone.so we can’t see the full screen dimension.I made a mistake,you don’t.branded ones always come border less.

If you want to- use gadget shields

Tempered glass , camera lens protector with antiglare coating,back glass protection film.

Don’t use local camera lens protector.it makes glare in the photos.

I noticed a scratch on my nothing phone 2a and sharp edges on the screen. Does it have a pre applied screen protector?

Kartoffel To my knowledge, yes it does. You should take a close look at the screen and feel the pre-installed protector with your fingernails.

It’s not a screen protector that comes pre applied, it’s plastic put on during manufacturing and packaging, as is done with all products with glass, and even on some plastic and metal to prevent scratches during that process.

It’s decent enough while you’re waiting for tempered glass/ hydrogel film. Keep it clean and use the phone carefully

Most of the pre-applied screen protectors are not at all good, because of the low quality. I buy my screen protectors separately from Gadgetshieldz. Because they have high quality ones and also the price is really low. I think they manufacture their own products.
