Unable to verify my number for RCS

Hi! For some reason I can’t verify my number for RCS and it’s stuck in “setting up” for a week now even if all my settings is correct

Hey mate, try the following:

navigate to Google via your web browser > go to https://myaccount.google.com/phone > login to your google account if you haven’t already > you’ll see your number and a toggle to verify your number. Re verify there and it should work > try RCS verification again

Remove any other devices in that list that you’re no longer using also.

It is worth to mention that some celullar operators are not providing RCS. My operator in EU is in that group as well.

Is your phone rooted/having an unlocked bootloader? I’ve had a similar issue and it turned out to be because RCS needs a locked bootloader (or some tweaks with the root if you are more advanced) to work.

This work for me Open the Google app make sure youre sign in to it open Chrome do the same sign in then open the Messages app got to configurstion switch off the RCS verfication then turn on airplane mode for about 15 seconds turn it off back again then switch RCS on hope it works for you.
