Flipkart Pricing Variation

I purchased the CMF Buds Pro 2 online in September 2024 for Rs 4,000, with a discount on the sale price of Rs 4,299. However, by the end of September, the price dropped to Rs 3,299, with an additional discount of Rs 1,000.

If a product initially priced at Rs 4,299 can be sold for Rs 3,299, then why not offer this price in the first sale? Offering such varying prices with significant discounts within just one month damages the credibility of the product.

It seems that from now on, I will be much more cautious when purchasing nothing products..

Hey mate, this is a risk you take whenever you purchase a product, Flipkart will likely be in control of the pricing and pricing will be based on many variables including, demand, season, manufacturer promotions, etc. Ultimately Flipkart or, any retailer will want to maximise the amount of units they ship to de-risk the amount of stock they have on hand, one of the easiest ways to do this is discounting.

The price will raise and drop many times throughout the year and, when you buy it at X, you’re buying it at that cost because you think it’s worthwhile to you, if it becomes cheaper you need to be okay with that, even if, you’re right it’s annoying!

All the prices of the products go up and down depending on the demand on the market, if it’s a product that doesen’t suit them and they only see single people buying it, then they will lower the price in order to get rid of the product as much as possible from them and not get stuck with the product.
