Messenger Bubbles on Nothing OS

I have enabled the bubbles from notification and app settings, yet I never see bubbles whenever I get a message. Even notifications seem to appear only on reactions but not on receiving messages. Is this a known issue? Could you fix it please?

I’m on the September update of nothing OS 2.6.

Hey mate,

If you search settings for ‘display over other apps’ and then enable messages/messenger to display over other apps does that rectify your issue?

hrry I also have that setting enabled. Yet it doesn’t work.

Same issue with Phone 1 for a very long time. I do a factory reset works fine for one day.

If I open bubbles from messenger app, pop up but after 1-15 min dissapear.

Display over other apps is enabled, and battery optimization is unlimited for messenger.

SarmadShaikh ok so I have a fix, kind of. I was having the same issue (https://nothing.community/d/20223-messenger-bubbles) and I’ve gone and uninstalled messenger and reinstalled it. Now the bubbles option is gone but if you enable ‘chat heads’ in the messenger settings then the messages will bubble. HOWEVER, it’s in a separate bubble and will not join your messages bubble for some reason.

It works on Telegram BTW, not sure about others…

Very strange 🤔 for me it’s working, try to disable all the nothifications from the app and then enable them back.

For me, it seems to work now. I saw the first bubble notification now. I didn’t do anything to the settings. It’s weird 🤔

I find this Bubble feature very inconvenient to configure. I don’t want all my chats to Bubble but for the few I do, I have to wait until they send a message which appears in the notifications and then from there, I have to go to its settings and enable Bubble. I cannot even find the option to enable Bubble on Messenger app for a conversation.
