100w and 140w GaN Chargers from CMF by Nothing

This is Abhilash.

I could see during the Flipkart big billion sale there are two new CMF GAN chargers listed apart from the familiar 65w model which is listed from for quite a while now.

The new models are of 140w and 100w.

Since I couldn’t really see any product release videos/articles in the community or on YouTube, I’m a bit sceptical whether these two new models are genuinely from CMF brand and trustworthy to buy from Flipkart.

Can someone from the concerned team kindly share details about it and if it’s okay to go ahead with the purchase from Flipkart?

The question is why to release such charging speeds if there is no phone from the brand that supports them yet.

vovan-v Only way that makes sense is for people who want to charge multiple devices at maximum speed at the same time.

vovan-v actually the higher wattage could be utilised for charging up multiple devices. Phones laptop watches earphones anything…so I personally feel it’s a good move. Only doubt I’m having is whether it’s a genuine product by CMF listed on the sale

Both the 100w & 140w seemed to have been silently launched, a few tech outlets picked up on the fact. As long as there is some legitimacy to the product being officially recognised by nothing or CMF, I’ve some peace of mind…since I’ve already placed the order 😁

FarhanAnsari yeah I saw this. Since there are like n number of fakes circulating even for the 65w CMF charger, people are not even aware about possessing a fake one even after months. It’s that fine copy of the original physically

Hopefully the Flipkart one turns out to be genuine

I cancelled the order since there are lot of bad reviews about the design and durability of CMF chargers.

Hi all, i can confirm that the product is genuine and is outputting high wattage as advertised. My hp work laptop goes upto 96w with the bundled 100w cable connected to the thunderbolt port. I’m assuming that with the higher wattage cable for pd3.1 standards it should output the full 140w. I’ve ordered a 240w thunderbolt compatible cable from Amazon - will report back next week on the results. Till then thanks everyone who shared inputs on this. Cheers!

If yes, could you please share the official image in the packaging about the power distribution.

I am really interested in getting the 140w version, but not much details anywhere about it.

I got the 100 Watt charger and i have checked thoroughly it seems genuine. I am currently charging my Lenovo legion 5 and this is working really good. I will put a long term review.

sudipash is the size of 140w is as same as 65w. By picture it looks same size. But given its high wattage I doubt it is portable as shown in pictures.

What’s the power distribution when all three ports are in use?

Durvesh I don’t have the 65 watt for comparison but the 140w is bit bigger than the 65w you can visit Flipkart page it has dimensions for 140w
