Phone (2) Charging Sound plays twice when plugging in

Hi everyone,

After the update of 2.5 I have encountered a weird thing,it is a bug or it is that like only i don’t know.

I have already addressed this issue in community and feedback page 2 to 3 time ,now again I am asking is it a bug or it is the new style of nothing ,if it is a bug then please give me a solution.

The issue or bug is:-

When ever i put my phone for charging the charging sound (the sound which indicates that the phone has be applied to charging) buzz two(2) times ,i don’t think there is hardware problem this happened after NOS2.5 update .

Please nothing see into this and give me a solution

VishwanathS_ghante There is a ‘handshake’ when chargers are connected to device to select the best charging speed.
Which charger are you using?

If you’d like you can turn the charing sounds & vibration off in settings > sounds and vibrations > toggle off charing sounds and vibration. If this isn’t a solution and you’d like to provide feedback to the Nothing team I’d suggest doing that via settings > system > feedback 🙂

VishwanathS_ghante could be charger or the typeC cable issue.

Also, i face this when using GaN multi port charger…first it starts charging phone on 1st port…then it starts charging for my watch on other port and then the phone charges refreshes….looks usual behaviour

arpan2308 yes am also facing the same and when it beep second time then phone start charging slow and there is some bug sometimes it charges very slow

I am facing a issue in which when I put my phone on charge it randomly beeps like multiple Times and I am using Samsung 25 Watt PT charger.. is there any solution? i don’t think it’s a hardware problem, because I’ve tried it with other chargers and they work fine.

thesunjrs I think you should Check for Loose Connection, Ensure that the charger is securely connected to both the power outlet and your phone and if the cable is slightly loose in the phone’s port, it could cause intermittent connections, leading to beeping.
