Thank you so much for reaching out to detail your thoughts about this, I appreciate the time you’ve taken to raise your concerns.
Firstly I agree, the communication from the Japan social team could be seen as a little confusing and conflicting, and could have been better. I have raised this to the team.
That being said, I do believe that this post does still serve a purpose, in that it shows users what they can expect to feature on their devices once the software becomes available.
I have seen some discussions amongst users in Japan that this beta is still installable, although - as with any preview software - I recommend caution.
As for the font concerns, have you already tried reaching out to the support team or leaving feedback? I have seen similar discussions from users in other regions and the team have taken this very seriously, and in some cases even implemented fixes.
