Nothing is the only (?) manufacturer in the Android segment to place the volume up and volume down buttons opposite the lock button. For everyday use, I think this is the best option available. Unfortunately, there is one scenario in which the positioning of the buttons has not been thought through to the end in my opinion: If you’re watching a video in landscape mode and want to change the volume, Nothing OS currently lacks a volume control that can be accessed via the swipe-down menu. Instead, you have to hold the phone in your hand and adjust the volume by pressing a button. With Samsung, for example, you can leave the phone in landscape mode and use the volume buttons.
HyperOS, for example, offers this feature via the software, but it would not be necessary there, as the volume and lock button are on the same side, as with Samsung.
Only iOS has done this correctly, or have I missed something? I look forward to your feedback!
