Hi, I have used a ton of different audio products (mostly over ear headphones) being a hobbyist musician, but i rarely try out TWS earphones as I feel like they don’t convey the details properly.
That being said, I recently bought the CMF Buds Pro 2 just to test them out of curiosity, and they are very impressive. I think if you know how to properly tweak the audio they can sound very close to some premium headphones. They also have some great features with the smart dial, which I use a lot like a remote.
If you have to choose between CMF Buds Pro 2 or Ear a. You can safely go for the buds Pro 2. With the right tweaking they can sound just as good as the ear a but not the flagship ear, as the latter has the LHDC codec.
Note : When I say tweak the audio it’s not just from the Nothing X app. Download poweramp or any other similar software where you can manually change individual frequency range per band. (If you are not a strict audiophile you can just stick to the Nothing X app)
Hope this helps.
