Bloatware, no updates, hardware issues, not reacting to customer wishes, flood of devices, inconsistent device development, no customer support, poor app quality. Does this sound familiar to you? Exactly, I’m talking about the generality of Android devices.
I’m on the verge of switching back to the brand with the fruit and there’s actually nothing left to keep me on Android. I still have a Samsung device, which ironically still works despite its age, but apart from that I’m done with the whole Android scene and don’t want any more.
There is still one manufacturer that I follow with great interest and who has somehow understood what quality in Android should look like and how small things can make a big difference.
Kudos to you, Nothing!
Even though I’m not happy with the large number of smartphones released recently and don’t own one of your devices myself, I think you will have realized somehow that this hasn’t made everyone very happy. I am therefore even more surprised that despite repeated requests and the many devices that have now been released, there has never been an intention to develop a more compact device. Just why? You manufactured so many devices and you know that your community would be up to it.
I know you won’t care much about the opinion of one person among so many. I just don’t understand why you are so extremely reluctant to do this instead of just giving it a try. The brand you are using as inspiration also has such devices in its range, and I mean the ones with the 6.1” size.
I hope that this (compact phone) will come together with NFC and eSim (also for the more compact devices without a slimmed-down version) in the shortest possible time.
Thank you
PS: For the people who always ask for a better camera. Try out a real (system)camera, it makes really fun to use one.
