Notification Lights

Am I missing something here or does the Phone (2) not have any traditional notification lights? I usually have always on display activated so I can easily see unread message notifications etc, and I’m pretty sure you can set it so the glitch lights can be used to let you know you have notifications…

…but is there no coloured flashing LED type thing that almost every other phone has, usually in a top corner of the screen?

I guess on a similar note, the battery indicator glitch light is fun but is there a way to have it always on rather than lighting up briefly when you shake it?

Most phones don’t have coloured LEDs in the corners of the scrren on the front anymore - those stopped being prevelent when screens started to take up more of the front of the phone, leaving no room for them, so most phones in the last few years won’t have them. They were a great feature though I agree, I do miss them. But yes as you say, you can get the glyph lights on the back to light up and stay lit up when you have certain notifications - called Essential Glyphs.

As for the battery indicator, there isn’t a way to get it to stay on whenever the phone is plugged in at the moment, but you could suggest it via the feedback options here

In which year you are living bro.. its not 2015-16.. Now a days no phones will come with a colored LED notification light.. Except for infinix I guess.
