Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with my phone, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insights.

My phone was fully up-to-date, and Android Auto had been working perfectly. However, a few days ago, it started crashing right after ending a call in Android Auto. Initially, I could disconnect the cable and perform a hard reset to get the phone working again, but the last time it happened, the phone completely froze. The screen went black, and it became totally unresponsive—I couldn’t restart it at all.

I eventually had to take it to the store for repair, and I’m currently waiting to hear back. I assume they might be able to restart it, perhaps by disconnecting the battery for a while. But I’m worried about this happening again, as I can’t afford to send in my phone for repair repeatedly.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue or how to fix it? If there’s no clear solution, I’m considering switching to another phone altogether.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Alex

Hey, Nothing I am back with some latest issue that I had faced today 😕 ABOUT THE ISSUE ; Early today I was using my nothing phone 2a I was in my car traveling and connected my my phone via cable to android auto then all the sudden it just shut down and not powered up for a few minutes and then it turned on automatically and with some lag and flickers and then it lagged for a minute and then I thought it was working fine then all the sudden speakers doesn’t work then I kept phone aside for a minute then it worked well , I HOPE YOU WILL SOLVE THIS ISSUES IN THE FUTURE UPDATE “NOTHING OS 3.0”

I have the same problem with Android Auto and Bluetooth when I’m in the car. I contacted support, but their advice was only to restart and reinstall. I realized that the problem isn’t with Android Auto but with Bluetooth. After connecting in the car, it often disconnects, the sound decreases, and other issues occur. The connection is terrible. Please check why Bluetooth doesn’t work well with third-party devices.

I hope this issue will be resolved.

Here a nothing phone 2 on nothing os 3.0.

Same issues, on beta and on stable build.

    So don’t expect a solution soon 🙁

    a month later

G_Stamatov The Bluetooth issue in the car persists. It disconnects from the car, freezes, and the sound increases and decreases on its own. Please let me know if there is a compatibility issue with the car and Android Auto, and whether it will be resolved. I contacted support some time ago, followed all recommendations, and thought it would be resolved after the update to version 3.0, but unfortunately, it hasn’t.
