What features, content or functionalities would you like to see here on nothing.community, and our future Community Platform, and why?….

I would like to see features on how the community and company are working towards holistic sustainability in design, materials and manufacturing through all aspects of the Nothing lifecycle because it fits with the values of the community and the brand and because it demostrates the values, purpose and strategy of a responsible venture deploying long-term thinking at the core.

I would like to see more on how the company and the phone lean towards neuro-diversity in design and functionality. This could be through neuro-diversity in the workforce, community and design of the products. The design and interface of Nothing tech is particularly favourable for those in the ND community who prefer light and colour over sound, who prefer minimalistic design and functionality. Who prefer less jarring disturbance and intrusion in their lives ( who wouldn’t). I think inclusivity is important and you can leverage these attributes of the tech across the board. Every NT person I know could benefit from less intrusion, less overstimulation of the senses and less screen-time. Quality over quantity.

Innovation, long-term thinking and avoidance of unintendened consequences. If Nothing can hit these 3 it will fulfil any sustainability metrics incidentally

As everyone has already stated, a purpose built app for the “Nothing.Community” forum would be nice. I am discouraged to use the forum on my phone, as the experience just isn’t as nice as the full website.

My two other suggestions would be badges for those who hold Community Dots, just something nice for these people to stand out. As well as other badges for those who contribute some great design or art or discussion to the forum. Little rewards for those who help make this forum alive.

Finally, a post of “Meet the Team”, for the community team and mods, as well as the further Nothing team. Everyone knows Carl, Rob and Natalie as well as our great mods, but let’s get some love out there for the others, Xu? Lewis? etc etc! It would also help make the team more recognisable in moments such as community events. We love the work the Nothing Team do, and having their amazing feats celebrated on this forum would be great to see.

A mobile app for the community platform, so that users can access it on the go. This would make it easier for users to stay connected with the community and to participate in discussions and activities, even when they are away from their computers and also share the feedback or report bugs whenever they face it while using the product.

The ability for users to upload and share photos, videos, and other files. This would allow users to share their creative work with the community, and to learn from other users. I have seen lot of users posting content on twitter maybe they can post here as well.

I would like to see on nothing.community and the future Community Platform:

Features:

A more robust search function that allows users to search for specific topics, keywords, and users. This would make it easier for users to find the information they need and connect with other users who share their interests.

A more user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate and use. This would make the community more accessible to a wider range of users, including those who are not as tech-savvy.

More opportunities for users to interact with each other, such as through forums, chat rooms, and live events. This would help to build a stronger sense of community and foster collaboration among users.

A mobile app for the community platform, so that users can access it on the go. This would make it easier for users to stay connected to the community and participate in discussions, even when they are away from their computers.

A more integrated experience with Nothing’s products and services. This would allow users to get support for their devices, access exclusive content, and participate in special events directly from the community platform.

Content:

More educational content about Nothing’s products and services. This could include tutorials, troubleshooting guides, and product reviews. This type of content would be helpful for both new and experienced Nothing users.

More user-generated content, such as photos, videos, and blog posts. This type of content would help to make the community more engaging and informative.

More exclusive content for community members, such as early access to new products, discounts on merchandise, and behind-the-scenes looks at Nothing. This type of content would help to reward loyal community members and make them feel valued.

Functionalities:

A system for users to earn badges and rewards for their contributions to the community. This would help to motivate users to participate in discussions and create high-quality content.

A way for users to filter and sort content by topic, date, and other criteria. This would make it easier for users to find the content that is most relevant to them.

A way for users to create and manage their own groups and forums. This would allow users to create spaces to discuss specific topics or interests with other members of the community.

I believe that these features, content, and functionalities would make nothing.community and the future Community Platform even more valuable and engaging for Nothing users.

In addition to the above, I would also like to see a dedicated section for Nothing developers, where they can share their work, get feedback from other developers, and collaborate on projects. I believe that this would help to foster a thriving developer community around Nothing’s products and services.

I think a very useful feature would be a ‘Save post’ option included in the three-dot menu of each message (the one that currently only has ‘Flag’ option).

‘Save post’ is a very useful feature for when we see a message with important information that we could use and don’t want to lose it (a tip, a new community project, etc.).

Also, it would be good if we could separate these saved messages using ‘categories’ or ‘tags’, and that there was a search box in that hypothetical ‘Saved messages’ profile section (to find them more easily).

For posting new threads, I’ve noticed that some sections have subcategories (e.g. Community Help has 3: Orders & Shipping, Hardware Help, and Software Help') but when opening the post writing window in a main section (like the one mentioned Community Help), There is no option that allows you to tag the post with any of its subcategories.

Currently, to post in a subcategory, you must open the writing window directly in that subcategory. So, offering the option to tag or adding a subcategory directly from the writing window even from the main category will make it more intuitive to use the subcategories, which would help maintain a good order. As long as this is not the case, the vast majority of posts will be disordered in the main category.

A mobile app is also a good possibility for the future.

1 I think alot of us can agree on the fact that a community app would be a good thing to have. On the playstore or as standard on the nothing phones.

2 a true dark mode where all the parts that are grey now turn black.especially the bars on YouTube.

Hi Natalie - I am new to nothing but have just bought a pair of ear 2 (from Urban Outfitters). Also bought a pair of air pods pro and couldn’t decide which to get so can’t wait to compare when they arrive tomorrow. One of the best things in looking at headphones was seeing Carl review apple’s ubiquitous ear pieces in an honest way. I think more reviews and integration with other products is worthwhile rather than the tired old android vs. Apple stuff. So an idea is - tech that works well together. And even extend to other things like watches/pens/other edc.

Another is getting the community to participate with future collaborations.

finally, you can tell nothing are really onto something. A bit of a 2020s Bauhaus thing?

Many of members made great suggestions,so i dont want to repeat since input was very good and are doable.What i miss is a seperate section for cmf Watchpro.As soon as i want to read something about the clock ,then i have to use search option.Dedicate button for watch it would be great.Keep on good working on community

Natalie ✨ I would love to see creative photos taken by users to showcase their beautiful phone and other nothing products. I myself take photos of my NOTHING phone 2 and really love to see other’s creativity with their photographs.

When I switched for my Samsung to phone 1 the first thing I looked for was a community application to report bugs and update info. So ill say a community app is much needed.

Second, adaptive charging is good but an option to limit the battery charging is much needed coz I always feel like I am damaging my battery charging it overnight till 100%.

A payment app supporting UPI transactions and also rewards user with coupons that are usable like Amazon, Myntra etc.

First of all I am extremely proud that I am part of such a huge and innovative community which is trying to break the barriers in the technological industry with the out of the box design concepts and ideas.

I would like to see a option for the users to recommend their own ideas related to nothing products and also it would be cool to have a whole section for games and challenges exclusive for nothing users. 👍👍👍
