Hello Nothing Community!
I wanted to start a discussion here to see what experiences you had with bone conduction headphones and/or with open ear headphones (such as Ear (open)), since recently I’ve found myself considering to switch to one of those technologies.
A bit of context: I’ve always suffered from ear wax accumulation on my ears, and often some infections as well. This situation made me ditch in-ear headphones about two years ago, and switch to over the ear headphones with ANC and so on.

This was a good solution, but then I faced an obvious issue: the lack of portability. It is rather annoying to carry my big headphones everywhere and have them hanging around my neck the whole time. In situations like walking 10min to meet friends, carrying my headphones was simply not worth for the small amount of time I would spend actually using them. In regard of this, I bought the Nothing Ear (stick), to use them at home and in certain use cases when portability was more important than audio quality. I decided for the Ear (stick) because of their price (I got them for around 45€) and the fact that they have not the silicone ear tips that give me trouble with wax.

Despite all of this effort, I still face issues with my ears, so I am considering switching to something that keeps my ear canal completely free. I tried a pair of bone conduction headphones (Shokz Openrun and Openrun Pro 2) at an electronics store and they blew my mind. It feels like having music inside your brain, a really cool experience that I recommend to everyone.

I couldn’t, however, try the Ear (open) as they only had them on sale, but not for testing. This is such a bummer because I am really curious to see how they perform, since I’ve read some really positive reviews here in the community.
So after all this long post, I would like to ask you what your experiences are, and if someone has tried both, to give somewhat of a comparison to help me better understand both products.
As an extra: I don’t practice sports very often, so my use case would be to use them at home, at the office or maybe going for a walk, so nothing too extreme or shaky.
