I am from India and I bought Nothing Phone 2 on Oct 25th from Flipkart, the official seller of Nothing Phones here. After switching the phone on for the first time, I noticed there were some dark spots on the screen. At first, I contacted Flipkart for a replacement but they didn’t help, then on 28th Oct I DMed Nothing official Twitter/X support and got their reply on 30th. They asked for some details, and I shared everything, within the 7-day replacement period. But the ultimate help didn’t come.
After that, I called Nothing India support, and they told me to send an email with a picture of the screen’s dark patches, I did that, and they told me to visit the nearest Service Centre and then call the official Nothing India support phone number.
After visiting the Service Centre, they acknowledged the issue and I called the Nothing support. After verification, the Support Representative over the phone call told me that I’d get the replacement as this is a genuine case which was reported within the 7-day replacement period. I was told to coordinate with the local service centre by sharing all the details, I did that.
But after that, there’s no contact from Nothing. I have called the service centre, they are telling me that they have not been contacted by the Nothing team either for the replacement.
