Nothing Phone (2) Size Feedback

Hi there, I purchased the Nothing Phone 2 recently and wanted to leave some feedback to the devs on it before most likely returning it.

I have to say I absolutely love almost everything about the phone, from its UI to its transparent case design and so on, but the deal breaker for me was the size. I was aware it was a large phone before I bought it but it didn’t truly hit me until I had it in my hand. This thing is MASSIVE and HEAVY. I’m a tall guy with fairly large hands and this thing is extremely fatiguing to use. My thumb is already sore from trying to reach around the screen to engage normally with apps and the weight makes it feel like you’re texting on a cinderblock. Obviously I could use two hands to operate it but in my opinion a phone that can’t be operated comfortably with one hand isn’t much of a phone. Sure there’s one handed mode but if I’m removing half the screen to make it useable then what’s the point of having such a large screen to begin with?

Again I love everything else about it so it really pains me to send it back. I would absolutely repurchase if the Phone 3 had a more reasonable size option, somewhere in the 5.8-6.0 range would be perfect, comparable to the Pixel series which I’ve been using up to this point.

Two other things I forgot to mention.

The size also makes it extremely uncomfortable in my pants pocket. So even when I’m not using it the size is a constant annoyance.
The fingerprint sensor seems very inconsistent. I often have to press my finger multiple times to unlock the phone, even after redoing the fingerprint scan multiple times from a variety of angles. I never had this issue with the scanner on the back of the Pixel 4a.
