Extended Screenshot Glitch

At first I thought it would be a glitch or something so I cleared cache of google photos, camera app, restarted the phone, took a screenshot again, same thing, “nothing” changed

To take a scrolling screenshot on a Nothing Phone 2, you can do the following:

Press and release the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time
Tap Capture
Tap Capture more
Use the crop guidelines to select the content you want to capture
Tap Save

You can view your screenshots in the Photos app under Library and then Screenshots.

I use the Google gallery app which is much more useful than the preinstalled Google Photos app.

Do try it out.

I have the same concern as well, most of the time the extended screenshot does not work, especially in Gmail but also in other apps. Either it just repeats the same part of the screen over and over, or it does not extend at all despite selecting the extended screenshot feature.

MariaVictoriaChing Yup, it’s a glitch.

On my Oneplus 5, I could capture a scrolling screenshot of an article right to the end, even if ghat was 15 pages.

In the NP2 it captures max 2 pages.

Lets hope the N team gets around to doing Something 😉

Gun_Put I got nothing 2 after I used my op5 for 6 years. Such a formidable phone that one!

Still no change. Nothing. Already try clear cache. There are still glitch on screenshot.

I have the same issue. Still persists after the latest software rollout. Please fix this issue.

That is the same for me, basically NEVER been able to take an extended screenshot oven any app.

Also me coming from OP (OP6T in my case, which was alive for a lot of years), I find NP2 really good, but maybe my older one is still better. sadly they not produce anymore such a smartphone.

In any case a trust a lot this new company.
Really hope a lot of small things will get fixed as soon!

sorry guys, for those who have not already done so, please share to Nothing all the issues through apposite feedback in phone settings, so for they will be easier to understand issues and fix them all.

Same here, scrolling screenshots don’t work all the time in gmail app.

Funny seeing all these posts about coming from oneplus as I did the same “upgrade” from op6 where this feature worked flawlessly…
