No it isn’t. It’s the same, just that it fades instead of going right off when blinking.
The visuals are completely different now, and are the way they actually should be.
I’ve been using Hue lights blinking to music for many many years and they work similar to how the glyphs work now.
If it’s not to your liking, might as well get used to it, cause it’ll be a long time before we get updates again, lol
