Wireless Charging 'on hold' - Phone (2)

Hello team,

For the first time I tried to chege with Wirless charging its not getting changed and showing a notification like “CHARGING ON HOLD”

Charging will resume when your phone return to normal temperature.

But as I observed the phone not at all heated..

ShivalingaB hey there, I recently bought a Magsafe Power Bank for my NP2 and let me tell you, the phone measures the safe temperature for battery while wireless charging as it dissipates a lot of heat and we may or may not notice it as our palms get used to phone’s warm temperature over use. I’ll suggest you should wireless charge your phone in conditions away from sunlight or particularly places which are well ventilated. And try not to use your phone while wireless charging.

Must be something wrong with your charger.

I’ve only used wireless chargers for many years now, and my Nothing Phone 2 has no issues with any of them.

Does your wireless charger have an active cooling solution? I’ve been using a wireless Samsung charger since many years now, it has a small fan built into the base to keep both charger and phone at lower temperature levels. Never had an issue using this one with my NP2.

Anishvl if you search for ambrane wireless powerbank, it will give you results, look for which which mentions + ring in title on amazon. I am lil skeptical about wireless coz its too slow plus device may heat up which is normal but yes. like youre out somewhere and you need to charge, wireless charging isnt good idea in emergency.

It takes around 1.5 hrs to 2 hours to charge fully
