@Daniel already reported It to support but wants to generate awareness that NFC got Broken on 2.5.2 for some devices like mine, you can search “Nothing os 2.5 NFC Broken ” on YouTube for a detailed análisis, but also in Reddit! We can’t use Google Pay anymore which is very annoying 😓

Hey Nothing please in the next update work on camera and improve game mode I can’t use optimisation and my device feels laggy and the battery drainouts very fast At first before the update the phone’s battery would last for 6-7 hrs at 75percent brightness and continuous usage but after the update the battery drains iform 100-0 in 4 hrs at 40percent brightness and please add nothing gallery, nothing files, nothing calculator.And please improve the camera and game mode and give a huge update even if it takes a 2-3 months it’s ok.

Firmware (bot) Hello!

I got my nothing phone 2 4 days back and the first thing I did after unboxing was update the firmware.

Using it I have noticed that if I pause any playing media and the phone is connected to headphones ( wired or wireless ) then when I press play the sound does not come to the headphones. Call and everything works great, but not the media.

I have to disconnect and reconnect the headphones while the media is playing to listen to the media on the headphones.

Please let me know if it’s a known bug or do I have to get the device checked.

It’s been 8 months that I purchased NP2 and except camera i never had any issue.

But After OS 2.5.2 Battery is draining rapidly. Earlier I used to charge my NP2 daily once. But after 2.5.2 i am charging it twice but still not getting enough Screentime.

Apart from this I never had a heating issue in my NP1 and NP2.

But from past 2days my NP2 is heating like anything.

Any Solution or recommendations plzz…

I request nothing team that if ur taking so long to release update but it should worth it all the camera issue and battery drain issue should solved please and release it fast as u can

TejasMaisuriya I don’t want to put too high hope for incoming updates. But I agree, they must fix existing issues before introducing new features.

On the other hand, I am afraid if the issues not bothering the main function phones, existing issues might be on Backlog or KIV. 😆

I hope Nothing teams share the update released timeline, alongside with new phone, 2a to calm down everyone here.
*NP1 user feel same when NP2 released back then. hahaha

Your phone is worse than mine, and I am trying to find out if I shall go back to Samsung with lots of bloat that easily can be removed or try out something else. I want a phone with a camera that can take pictures worth looking at.

TejasMaisuriya yes…especially front camera, after clicking photo more whitish photo is generated even though settings are default.

Greetings Nothing Community,

Proximity sensor not working properly when on calls, taking screenshots all the time.

Google Messages, when you get a normal text at times, you get a message label in black.

When connected with Bluetooth the lock screen widgets start flickering.

Mobile Data lock screen widget doesn’t function at times.

Lock screen widgets being activated unintentionally while pocketed.

These are the issues I’m facing currently.. Not sure if others are facing the same.

lexlexus Hmm, IDK la could be true or not. Because glyph is a part of their ‘features’.

I hope they getting better in terms of support and software updates (including bug fixes).

Ngl, every time before I sleep, I check software updates. 😂 (IDK, habit probably)

I’m happy with my NP2 (I purchased under telco, unlimited 4G/5G), alongside Nothing Ear 2 and CMF Watch Pro. 😆

Cook the food too long and it will get burned. Never tried to cook for 8 days though.

By the way, just got the February security update; a week before the month is called April.
