Unable to rotate the home screen on Phone 2

I’m using a Phone 2 with Nothing OS 2.5.2 installed. I’ve already enabled the “Auto-rotate” feature, yet whenever I turn my phone sideways, the home screen just remains in portrait mode. When searching for home screen rotation in the Settings, I can see an option available there as seen below:

Upon clicking this option, it takes me to the Home Settings page, but the option isn’t available there. Home screen rotation is a stock Android feature but somehow it has been disabled in the Nothing Launcher.

If anyone has found a workaround for this then please let me know.

Isn’t that weird, how ‘Home screen rotation is a stock Android feature but somehow it has been disabled in the Nothing Launcher.’, meaning that they chose to remove an in my opinion useful feature. I don’t get why they don’t give us the option to change the phones rotation behaviour in that case… I would like to see the feature ‘returned’.
