I am a casual user and not heavy on games. Just office apps and some for personal use. Received Nothing 2.5 update and installed, been good for a couple of weeks. But last night, when at 4.AM I just woke up say time and locked phone to beep it back on table. Heard continuous vibrations time n again.
Phone was in a boot loop. I saw some youtube videos on other phones go get a hard reboot using fastboot or recovery options as guided by videos and nothing worked.
It is stuck in boot loop till phone switches off and the phone switches off after extreme battery drain. If I try charging it again, the phone charges but remains in same boot loop.
I have 2 opinions. 1. Power button is stuck or malfunctioning (even though I get good tactile feedback from button) or 2. there is something wrong with the new OS update I received which is also unlikely since I have been using phone long enough to know that software update didnt kill it….. Phone is 8 months old. I could get a service done easily but I want to know if anyone else too faced this issue? and how did you get rid of this ?
