Power off the phone and charge, phone will fast charge and also battery charge lifecycle will be saved. You can use accubattery to measure battery health.

I got the Nothing Phone 2a last week, and two days ago, I bought the CMF 65W charger. However, the phone is taking more than 3 hours to fully charge. I tried other GaN chargers as well, but the results are the same. I found many other posts about this issue on the Nothing community. Is there a bug in the device, or is the 45W fast charging just a gimmick?

Tried UGREEN Nexode Mini 45W and type-c watt checker, it seems Phone 2a charging PD 9V 3A 27W not PPS 45W.

With UGREEN Nexode Mini 45W 0-100% charging takes about 1h at 25W speed.

2a special edition here, bought 45w charger from Alza which should support all protocols. on screen charging is around 16w. 97% charge in 70 min.

Still the slow charging issues persists in nothing phone 2a, Using CMF original adapter along with original nothing cable and it is taking almost 2 hours to full charge under controlled environment (AC room).

samsung 25w PD charger is best for 2a, charges phone in less than hour.

Hello there. I bought Nothing 2(a) a couple of days ago. I am using the included nothing type C to type C cable along with the Ugreen 45W naxode charging adapter. I have noticed that charging takes longer than expected. While many videos show that a 45 watt charger can charge a device from 0 to 60% in just 30 minutes, mine takes almost two hours to reach 100%.

The charging is issue is yet to be solved?! i mean c’mon imagine 25w charger from a totally different brand charges a phone with 45w charging support much faster than the company’s offical charge brick is completely unacceptable. Either they should fix the issue by issuing a software update or come out in public and accept the issue and do something about it. But people have been complaining for so long and not action has been taken yet 🥲

I have taken nothing phone 2a 10 days ago and bought the orginal adapter thinking it will cop up with tha phone as both are of nothing but I m facing charging literally phone takes 2 hours to just charge 80% I m really disappointed with this charging issue .please fix this issue otherwise u will lose customer trust
