So finally I figured out the fast charging issue. Finding the right charger is the first hurdle. I got myself the Nothing 45W charger. A 35 watts samsung PD charger works fine too.
The second hurdle is finding the right cable. A c-c cable that support PD charging is a must. I currently use an Deal of the day: Anker Type C to Type C Braided 3ft Black PD Cable, Super Fast Charging (50% Charge in 30 mins), https://amzn.eu/d/g9osh4l cable.
The charge speeds are as follows:
Nothing charger 45W - 50% 30min 12sec, 100% 58mins 29sec
Samsung 35W - 50% 31min 19sec, 100% 59mins 1sec.
Now I kept the phone locked while charging and only unlocking to check the charging percentage in the first test
Second test was charging while using the phone. Moderate gaming, running youtube videos and some stress testing was done at the time of charging.
Though not recommended, I just tested it out.
Nothing 45W - 0-100% in 1hr 39mins 48sec
Samsung 35W - 0-100% in 1hr 44mins 41sec
