Using USB-C Headphones With Phone (2a)

I don’t like using wireless earbuds so I’ve tried plugging in my AKG Samsung USB-C earphones into my nothing phone 2a. At first the phone didn’t recognise the earphones at all, but after I’ve turned on the “improve OTG compatibility” setting the audio started to go through them. Unfortunately, when I record myself/call someone instead of my voice a constant loud buzz is getting recorded. The earphones work perfectly with every other phone I have. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have been using an IEM for 1 year now with my phone 2, and have never experienced any kind of issue like you mentioned. I’m using a DAC, and everything is fine. I’m getting great sound, and every function of the IEM is working perfectly. i haven’t changed a single settings in the phone 2 for the IEM to work from the beginning.

rish do one thing just plug your iem on laptop and listen then you might notice differences

Thts exactly I have always been using. I’m using it with the same dac on my laptop while working. And every other time with my phone. No issues for me.

i even tried with different DACs from my colleges and also i had no issues with those either

DAC is needed. use 3.5 jack and adapter with dac, type c DAC is expensive.
