How about improving the timer by using all 6 central glyphs? I mean, when last more than 5 seconds, 5 static glyphs is on, and 1 is decreasing. For last 5 seconds the last 5 Glyphs is turning off 1 glyph per second. This is more interesting animation, i guess.
