Been using 2a since April and recently I’ve noticed my phone takes about 1hr and 40 minutes to charge, it charges 1% every minute and i believe it was supposed to take roughly 40+ minutes to fully charge .I hope nothing will resolve this problem soon.

Nothing Phone (2a) has battery drain issue, about 9-10% of battery percentage idle drop and the phone is charging very slowly with cmf charger which takes about 1.45 hrs to full charge which is charging at 20W even though Nothing Phone (2a) supports 45W charging . I hope these problems will be solved by giving software updates

    Im using Nothing 2a since 3 months I’m facing battery drain issues and slow charging,

    And yesterday I restarted my mobile and set it in ideal condition for 10 hours, when I see my mobile it’s drained 20% battery without touching (using) my mobile, why it’s happening 😭

          SInce we are at this, can you honestly, without any bias or hate or frustration, let me know of other issues you have faced on this phone since your day 1? I believe battery life is subjective as it depends on individual usage.

              1. Overheating: Given it is almost 25k including the charger with 8gb ram & overall pretty good specs, I never expected the phone to heatup so much. It reaches upto 40-41° while i play 1hr of game (standoff 2) on standard graphic & 60 fps, also it heats up while casual web browsing or lets say i am downloading something from the browser its easily goes up to 38° & on casual use 35-36°. I face overheating while charging too, I have the cmf gann charger & I am not even kidding it easily reaches up to 40°-41°, sometimes I don’t even want to charge the phone just because it heats up so much.
              1. Screen distortion or idk lines or “glitch lines” as to say when i am using the phone at night i turn on the night light & i noticed it the lockscreen widgets get a little distorted if i look hard enough.
              1. Gesture Navigation: It is not smooth as it should be.

              The main problem I am facing with NP2A would be the battery & overheating. As i said earlies it is getting worst day by day for real.

                  Heating while gaming is totally negligible but the browsing, downloading should never heat a device. All the reviews mention decent heat management and praising the vapor chamber. I dont even know anymore. The cmf gan charging problem, It is more worrying. I think even nothing 45w charger will heat up the same.

                  3. Strange, everyone talks about how smooth nothing os is. Saw some videos on community where some swipes were not getting recognized by the screen.

                  Still cant believe that the battery problem is that bad.

                    Can you guys confirm if this problem is related to updates? Did the updates reduce autonomy? Guess someone who bought the phone on launch can better answer this

                        Fractal Updates did reduce the autonomy of the phone i think. Been using it for 2months now & its funny how this brand new phone is having such issues🤣
