The fact that this update is called 2.5.3 makes me think that they released it more to update the security patch to April than to add new features, since the latter will take a little more time because they have been focused on polishing the Phone (2a) experience after launch.

Okay new(for me) bug I found in phone 2 is that when your WhatsApp call connects you have to press any volume key to start the speaker

I don’t know how to explain this but every time someone call me or I call someone through WhatsApp i can’t listen to their voice even tho the call is connected and volume is full but I have to press volume button any upper or lower volume button then I can listen to it

CYPHER_LYNX I think this update is more like an update to respond to the complaints of phone 2 users. Even Nothing didn’t post on Twitter. This is a forced update that fixes the heat dissipation, but I don’t know if there are any changes to the camera and battery consumption.

Just a security patch. No camera improvement, no features added. Will never suggest this brand to anyone. Will sell this phone soon and get a Pixel. Google won’t add many customisation features but at least they give a really good camera.

Vinnnyyy vendors get security patches/android updates source faster for internal testing. That’s why oneplus almost released android 14 update before google. 😉
