its the GOOGLE LOCATION ACCURACY setting.
I have the same problem. I bought my NP 2a a week ago and notice my GPS position was showing inaccurate location or just stack in my previous location hundred miles away.
I found out the by switching OFF the GOOGLE LOCATION ACCURACY and purely relying on phone GPS the, the location is more accurate (Google Maps). So, it gives wrong location if you ENABLED the Google location accuracy.
But by switching OFF this setting, some apps that ask your location will not work.
I did some research and OnePlus phones had the same issue back in 2020 as well as Motorola. I think it is related to the Android update.
I attached some photos for reference.
